Earlier this year my 5Dmk2 had a friendly meeting with the sea and it got fried. I got it repaired with my local camera shop who sent it to Canon which cost me an arm and a leg, and the shop gave me a 6 month guarantee, in case anything happened again, which it did. The viewfinder was the next thing to go, probably because of the sea incident. Got that fixed but now my guarantee is running short and i'm worried that something might happen down the line after it's expired.
