Looking for some suggestions for a night/ early moring shoot

Morning,

I have a free weekend coming up (wife going away, nothing on...which is a rarity) so am looking to plan a night or very early morning shoot around London - preferably an hour or so drive away from the city.

I'm wanting to push myself a bit and take me out of my comfort zone - i usually go hiking in Berkshire, Sussex, Surrey etc and take landscapes - so;

Night or very early morning
long exposure
an hour or two's drive from London

I'm having a complete brain-freeze when it comes to thinking of ideas of what to shoot so i'd figure i'd ask you wiser folk and tap your experience.

It shows the time and direction of sunset ans sunrise for any day. By itself this is good but even better combined with an OS map.

A few places that could give some good shots are

north Kent coast,
North Downs,
Parliament Hill,
various bridges over the Thames - Waterloo Bridge is good for views up and down the river, sunset through the Queen Elizabeth Bridge or up the Thames from around Wandsworth Park.

I just downloaded that the other day - quality app.

Thanks for the ideas. Will have a look at the North Downs and Kent Coast. I've been all along the South Downs but never the North Downs.
