Hi,

Just wondering if you guys had some advice.

I used to have a sigma 50-500 os, but had to sell it to raise cash, but I'm missing the range as my longest lens is only 200mm.

What budget lens would you advise for a Canon full frame with fast autofocus?

I know a tall order, cheap, long range, good quality and to fit s full frame!

To be honest I think it will be the 150-500 OS, I owned one a while back and it was very good, but you know times move along and new lenses come out and things get better so I thought I'd ask anyway.

Budget wise as always as cheap as possible.

Thanks for the reply :)

I've got a sigma 150-500 or at least I did still not sure if it survived the car crash :( but pre crash I was happy with it

Damn, if it survived a car crash that's a big thumbs up for the build quality!

Hope you're okay too :)

I've not see it it's still at my cousins but it was loose in the car :bang: as I'd had it out the night before and not took it back in the house, apparently it's a little battered but still working, I'm doing better than I was, just down to minor aches now

Thats great news, and thanks for the advice, I just won a 150-500 :D

Have a look at the macro bee shot on my flickr, I took that yesterday with it, maual focus as it won't af on my body, but I think that is down to my camera and not the lens

Seriously Matt. send it back to Sigma, I dropped mine and they replaced both the focus motors and OS system for about £135 and I have to say it's even better then it was before and I was pleased with it then
