Hi before I start I will apologise if you have answered this several times over!

I upgraded my Canon camera from an 1100D to a 60D about 6 months ago but I kept my lenses (Kit 18-55mm which has served me well) a Canon 55-250mm and a 50mm which also came as part of my initial set-up with my 1100D. I did not know what my "thing" was going to be in the beginning but now after 18 months I figure it is landscapes, so would like a wide angled lens along with an upgrade in a general walk round lens....if the price is right! I have looked at some but I get so confused when it comes to lenses that I end up just not bothering but now I really want an upgrade, so looking for a little help and advice please. I should also say image quality for me is important hence why I want to upgrade. The ones I have looked at are:-

Canon 10-22mm
Canon 15-85mm - I am a bit worried about the lens creep which has been talked about regard this lens.
Sigma 10-20mm
I was also looking at the 17-40 but on my 60D I don't think I will benefit too much as I have no desire to upgrade to a ff camera in the near future.

Anyway I look forward to your thoughts/advice on my dilemma and thank anyone in advance who cares to reply.

Carol

If you're going to cover the wide angle aspect, ie 10-22mm's. Maybe look at a canon 24-105 f4 L as a walk about? Won't work as an urban type lens, but you'd be happy with the quality.

If on the other hand you'd be happy 17-55. Look at a canon 17 - 55 2.8 Is.
