I know it's a long shot, but if anyone was out in the Airton, Bell Busk, Gargrave area of Yorkshire (near Malham) and they find a black monopod with a Cullmann ball head and QR adapter, It,s mine!
Out for a little walk today, put it down somewhere, walked off without it!
P*****k!

Hope it turns up !!!

Cheers peeps! I know it's a VERY long shot, but, stranger things have happened!

I did that with my camera bag a month ago (almost all my equipments were inside it) !

Walked away for 10 mins and run back like crazy lol.. (Lucky for me, no one even noticed that :| )

Good luck..

Funnily enough (that don't look right!) we were walking down a farm track back to Gargrave, and my mate found a pair of Oakley MTB glasses on the ground, I know how much they cost, so was going to leave them at the cafe in Gargrave. A few minutes later, this guy came hurtling down the track on a Cannondale, so we were able to return them to him! He had ridden back 6 miles to find them!!

Good luck, Know how it feels. I drove away with a set of cycling glasses on the roof of my car once, got 40 miles back home before I realised what I'd done. Too late then :bonk:

No joy I take it?

No mate! Thanks for asking though, was saving up for Canon 70-200L F4, looks like I will have to fork out for another monopod!

Oh dear.... i really hope you get it back! ... I once went on a walkabout around Onich near Fort William in Scotland and I'd taken two cameras, one had an EF16-35 II for WA shots and the other had an EF100-400 attached for wildlife shots. I had walked down to the ferry landing and decided to take a few WA shots of the ferry and lighthouse and put the 50D with TP lens down on a concrete slab, took a few shots then boarded the ferry and completely forgot about the camera I'd left behind ... only realising when I got to the other side of the loch :bonk: By the time I returned the camera was exactly where I left it ....
