Lots of kit storage

Afternoon all!

I currently have a Lowepro Fastpack 350, which is great bag. However, I also have a few smaller bags which I tend to find myself reaching for when I go out with my camera - and the Fastpack has turned into a sort of camera storage bag, full of lenses and filters that I dont need at that particular time etc.

However - here comes the problem... the bag is quickly getting out grown by my never ending growth of kit!

So, just wondered what everyone else uses as a storage type bag, rather than one that is carried on your back etc?

I have just bought the Lowepro Nova 200aw and I love it. Fits all my gear in.
 
I used to use a bag or two, then ran out of space, then used a corner of a room, then ran out of space, now use the whole room.. lol Lowepro don't make a bag big enough. :)

I use a Lowepro protrekker and a Lowepro commercial aw to store bodies and lenses... A decent peli will be the next step :)
 
I've got a big Peli case. I didn't realise quite how big when I bought it from the classifieds here, was a lot of :eek: in the office when it got delievered and I had to get a van to take it home :lol:

Fortunately I own a van ...
 
I moved all the junk from the wifes display cabinet, now all my excess sits in there for me to look at and admire, much better than china figures lol :D:D
 
The majority of my kit lives in my LowePro Roller 3. It's always ready to go so that I know exactly what I've got and don;t rush around like a madman trying to get it altogether.

If I need less kit, either because I have to be more mobile or simply because I don't need it, then I transfer the kit I need to one of my bags. My bags live on one shelf of an Ikea modular cabinet I have in my office. Another shelf is dedicated to the bits of kit I don't need that often such as other lenses, chargers, filters, etc.

The only downside to all this is that my office is on the second floor and the ProRoller weigh c30kg fully loaded so it's a pain to hump up and down the stairs. Oh well, at least we've only got one stair gate to get it over as opposed to the three we had before.

it definately holds everything more securely, probably worth it if the case is going to get shaken around.

that said, you can probably get more in with the dividers and as such that'll be my next move.
