I like this - the dark blue sky with the orange of the sun just disappearing below the horizon contrast nicely with the darkness of the buildings.

Not sure the vignetting adds to it though and I wonder (if possible) whether a little more light on the foreground to reveal the pebbles might have added interest.

You may be right about the vignette, but the 'beach' wasn't very visually appealing (polystyrene etc!) so I did want to hide it a bit, but did want to retain the shore in the frame.

both good shots , but for me the panoramic is the better of the two

I think the vignetting does little to help the first in my opinion
