Love in a frost

A few I took on a rather chilly Sunday morning, freezing my butt off in our garden.
1. I changed this to mono and used a split toning effect, which I am new to but wanted to experiment with. I think it adds to the cold feel.

2. With this one I slightly desaturated it then used split toning to accentuate the red and green hues for a completely different look.

3. No messing with this one.

oohhh....toughie to choose, all three have their good points and the toning works on this subject, so on balance I would go for #2 on its composition.

Well worth getting cold for Of the 3,whilst I do like #s 1 and 2 and the pp you have done to them,I actually prefer #3 but it looks a bit dark and could do with a tweak of the levels.

Do you know what the plant is?

Nice set and I will go for #3 the extra colour gives it more interest for me Z
