Thanks for looking :)

Good set Ant, #2 looks far from happy about the situation  Thanks for the Robin as well (y)

The first two are very good, for them being at such slow speeds. The last one is, well a Robin:puke::puke::;);)

Excellent photos, really well done on all three.:clap:

A very nice set, considering the bad light.

Its amazing what you can do with a stable tripod and a bit of care. I fairly frequently shoot at <1/100s and it doesn't always work but when it does you can get some good pictures.

#1 is the pick for me with the streaks of rain behind and the really wet feathers...

Thank you all for looking, and your kindly comments (y)

These were taken resting on a beanbag btw.

A superb set of images love the look on the Green finches face
Regards
Richard

Nice set Ant - the wet look works for me.

All fantastic shots, first shot being my favourite.....love the bedraggled look
Just shows that you don't always need loads of light to get well exposed shots (grabs camera bag).......

Thanks everyone (y)

Ken I had the IS on, I did a fairly extensive trial with it on and off while using the beanbag, and on was by miles the better for me. It may vary with other cameras and lenses though.

Clive if I've encouraged one person to "Grab their camera bag" then mission accomplished :)
