:thumbs: Two weeks ago my 2 year old Slingshot 300 AW's main zip broke. The bag had only ever been used as a storage bag at home and had only been out in the boot of the car on a couple of occasions...anyhow, long story short, I asked a question regarding a possible weekness of this zip on the Lowepro website and the next day I recieved an email from Daymen that the bag would need to be inspected before a replacement was offered (I was totally not expecting a replacement, I just wanted to know if it was a known fault before I went to Jessops to buy a new one) Anyhow, dropped the bag off at Daymen, Wolverhampton last Monday...the inspector was off sick all last week but returned yesterday...at 11:00 yesterday morning I had an email saying a replacement back was being sent...by 1:00 today I had a loverly new Slingshot 302 AW replacement....Thanks to Lowepro and Daymen. :thumbs:

I had the same thing happen to my lowepro 75AW and i just asked the question was told to return the bag which was 18 months old and within a week i has a brand new 75 AW Pro.
Excellent customer service.
 
its something they pride themselves on isnt it. To be honest i think i would of fumed if my zip ona £100+ bag came apart.

Glad its not just a 1 year and then you are stuffed policy. It actually shows they mean for these bags to outlive probably the camera equipment. (based on the rate eqiupment is traded on here):p
 
I still have my first lowepro bag which I purchased second hand 8 years ago. Might be a bit tatty, but it is still strong as anything where it counts.

My mini trekker - that was given to me by a motorsports photographer a number of years ago after being his staple bag for a while. I have used it a lot since then - and it has had some weight on board I can tell you! Still going strong - no sign of seams tearing or anything.

I only consider other manufacturers if lowepro don't have a product that would fit my needs
