Anyone who has this bag, can you fit an iPad in the pocket on the inside, on the flappy bit? I don't have anywhere close enough to check

Just tested for you its just slightly too big to fit so only a ipad mini would go in
 
I very recently upgraded from Flipside 300 to Flipside 400AW.

When I had the 300 I sometimes just laid my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 (about same size as ipad) on top of my cameras and lenses, i.e., not inside the pocket on the "flappy bit". It was in a leather sleeve so no hard surfaces making contact.

Just checked and the Tab2 fits comfortably in the outside pocket on the 400AW with plenty of room for other stuff.
 
I like the 300 better, the 400 looks a bit too big. I'll try laying it inside like you, it's in a sleeve anyway so it won't scratch anything, hopefully the 5th gen will be thinner and it might fit in at the end of the year. Thank you
