Been considering one of these for a while and noticed today Wex have them @ £69.00 so thought it would be a shame not to! They were £90.00 earlier in the week. HDEW did have them for £55.00 but in general they are usually around the £80-£90 mark on Amazon.

I took the free delivery option and they delivered today on a Saturday, so well pleased. Bag is very nice and light, hopefully it will be better for me than a shoulder type bag.

Nooooo! So tempted. So don't need yet another bag. Arrrrrgh!

Also, Wex has a few bargain Kata bags left... http://www.wexphotographic.com/search/?q=kata

I missed out on a Kata bag, they have been selling them of cheaply since being taken over by Manfrotto. The Flipside is a very nice bag although I have yet to use it! I also bought a Nova 17L as a shoulder bag in Pepper Red, it matches the Flipside nice. What I also like is theres a removable ICU unit whch then can be used to carry equipent or store without the bag. For £25.00 it's a bargain IMO.

Yes, that's a great deal. Very nearly bought last night, but I have so many ruddy bags!

Is Manfrotto keeping the Kata name do you know? I do like their bags.

Not sure on the Kata name being kept, probably not if their selling them of cheaply?

I have been trying different bags over the last two years as I have been flirting between Nikon & Fuji set-ups. I have now settled on my Nikon D750. I liked the Think Tank range of bags, but the Retrospective 7 which I was using was 1.3kgs before putting in any gear. I then tried a few Crumplers, I liked the Light Delight 6000 but the padding was a little sparse to keep the weight down.

I have disabilities and I think the backpack is going to be better for me or the wife:Dto carry when I want to take more kit out, the shoulder bag is basically for when I want to take the body and one lens out, as I won't carry much more than that in a shoulder bag.

So I am now set-up with the two bags mentioned above and hopefully they will be suitable and last me a few years.
