Hi folks. I'm thinking of buying a lowepro passport sling bag and was wondering has anyone used one, and also would it take a Nikon D3100 with 18 55 attached. All feed back welcome.

Thanks for that. I'm thinking of getting if for street photography because I don't want a bag that screams " camera bag".

It also takes an iPad or magazine and a spare lens(es). Water bottle too if you are in warm climes. Best place for a camera is around your neck otherwise you will never take a photo.

Ciao

I agree about the camera around the neck, but in some situations it's best for the the camera to be hidden.
Cheers.

I bought it before we travelled to Mexico and found it very handy

So it'll take a D3100 with plenty of room to spare and a 55 200 lens packed in as well. Thanks for your comments.
Ta.

I used to use one of these with a gripped D7000 and various lenses - you might think this wouldnt fit but if you scrap the supplied insert and use one of these - £15 from china - it will take loads more.

During the winter I've used a bigger bag but will probably swap back to the passport one if the weather improves !
