I'm looking for a new bag, and the main requirement is that I can access 2 bodies, both with lenses (up to 70-200) attached, while wearing the bag.
I tried the Lowepro Stealth Reporters. The D550 is a fair size, but not deep enough. The D650 is big, but it's designed for one mounted camera, and while it would take two, it's really difficult getting them out through the zip opening.
The Lowepro Classified 250 works well. It's designed for 2 mounted cameras. It also takes a 15" laptop (mine is a very tight squeeze). The strap is awful, and would need replacing.
The Lowepro Classified 200 is - the same model as above, without the room for the laptop, but strangely I found it difficult to close the zip with the 2 cameras in position. I'm wondering if anyone has one and has found it easier after time, as the size and price are good.
EDIT - Update, I've decided the Classified model is too big, so I'm down to 2:
1) Think Tank Retrospective 20
2) Lowepro Pro Messenger 180 - basically a copy of the TT
I haven't been able to try either. I know the TT is extremely popular, and well built, and I know it can take 2 mounted bodies, but I don't know how easy it is to access the cameras while wearing (the bag is a fair bit smaller than the 2 Classifieds, but then that's it's attraction).
The Lowepro appears to be pretty good, having taken the ideas from the TT, but I don't know if it can take 2 mounted cameras. Any ideas?
So those who own the Pro Messenger 180 or Retrospective 20 - can you wear it with 2 mounted bodies, and how easy is it to remove and replace the cameras?
