Hi all
I'm thinking looking at getting a new Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 AW Backpack.
I'm looking for comments and thoughts on anybody who has used or own one.
For example. Are they comfy, i.e. when doing long walks? user friendly? built well? etc

I'm about to put mine up for sale this week, and then buying the 600AW. If you ever need to carry a lot of kit over any distance I couldn't recommend it enough. The harness is the most comfortable I've ever used, equal to a top quality camping rucksack. I just need more space.
 
Can't tell you about that one, but I have the Computreker Aw filled with stuff (about 11kg now)and it's brilliant. Very comfy and I've walked a long way with it.
 
Not sure which one I have, it has laptop in as well but it is very comfy.

I got mine last week from Dale Photographic in Leeds. I paid £199 for it and have to say it is the best bag I've ever had. Well constructed, great padding, I can get my 300 2.8 mounted on my 1D3 inside with loads of room for other lenses etc.

The hydration compartment is a great idea, as is the laptop compartment. I also love the fact the waist belt can be removed and the harness can be adjusted using the provided tool.:thumbs:

And the best thing for me is that it looks like a regular backpack which is great, and doesn't advertise you as a photographer:thumbs:
