Lowepro versapack

Anyone any have a lowepro versapack or can recommend a similar bag? to hold my 550d, 55-250, 18-55. Also want some room for personal items (waterproof coat,lunch,drinks etc).

I have a flipside 300, which is great just doesn't have much room, for anything non camera.

Would really like a bag which can withstand some rain, so AW cover or shower resistant material would be great.

Don't really want to spend much more than £50.
 
I have the versapak and really like it.

As far as holding your extra gear I'm not sure. Mine holds camera and 17-70 attached. You can set it to access from either side or via main zip which is good.
I have extra lens, and room for 3 more in main compartment.

The 2nd compartment holds cleaning kit, filters, hoods, manuals, lastolite grey balance card etc with room for a WELL rolled up waterproof. There is a zip up area big enough for items that are easily lost.

Externally there is a tripod holder and also configurable straps to hold another small tripod or monopod. There is a concealed all weather cover.

The back pack straps are brilliant.

It isn't the biggest bag but it is versatile enough for my needs. Best thing I can suggest is looking at one in person before u buy if you intend to do so on line.

Thanks very much Andy for the detailed reply. I'll have to find somewhere local that has one, so I can have a look at it. Nearly tempted to get a rucksack and stick my 200 slingshot in it lol

Lol that could work!

I purposely went for a smaller bag to stop myself loading the "kitchen sink" and so far it's working!

Still can't decide, now thinking of fastpacks but the lack of waterproof cover, I could buy a seperate cover for it though.
