Not sure If I am allowed to do this or not, so I will, and if it turns out I am not, then I shall get a slap from a mod and the thread removed, so here goes....

On another photography forum I use, this link was posted up...

Have no affiliation whatsoever and know nothing of the site but looks legit, Lowepro Vertex 100 for £49.99..... quite a bargain for a huge padded bag which will take a couple of bodies and a few lenses, not to mention lots of pockets for filters / cards / cleaning stuff etc....

Upset I paid £85 for one a few weeks before Xmas.....
 
Looks like a really good deal to me!
Possibly should be in the bargains section?

got one of these when currys where doing them for the same price September/October last year (from a thread on here).
Managed to carry it around for a whole day with 2 bodies, 6 lenses, 2 monopods and god knows what else, it was still comfortable at the end of the day, so I would recommend it!

The tripod/monopod pocket can be removed if not in use, its still (just) inside hand luggage dimensions too.
 
i take it this wont hold a 17 inch laptop ?

just on amazon on the tech spec it says 17 inch notebook compartment, but i think this is a typo

No it wont, I've got a dell M1530 (15", albeit a fairly bulky one) and I cant quite do the zips up, so you've no chance with a 17" one.
 
Really holding back the clicking finger from processing this one..
Doesnt help that the few (maybe more) beers are kicking in, worst time for spending needless money!

Glad to be of assistance. Just annoyed that I paid £85 for one not so long back..........

Would be interesting to hear of delivery times etc....... as looks a site to possibly bookmark.
 
that is a bargain, i got one this time last year for £98 and its a great bag for the money and the weather proof cover really does come in handy when out n about.

Nope, email confirmations says "Your order has been processed and all available items should be delivered within 2 - 5 working days. Please note that payments made by credit/debit card will be taken at the time of despatch."

It's still well within 5 days and they haven't taken any money yet. Maybe they are snowed under, literally ;)
 
Ordered my bag & Gorilla Pod on 7/1, got an email that afternoon saying my order had been dispatched. Received my order yesterday, well packed and very happy with items. Excellent service.

I ordered on 9th Jan, called them today for an update and they said it was out of stock and they had cancelled it. :thumbsdown:

Total joke of a company.
I had to contact them to be told they had cancelled mine as they are out of stock. Seems they are quick enough to email when they take the order but can't be bothered to when they cancel it.

Brilliant customer service.
