LRC watermarks

Hi all.
A question about LRC and Watermarks.
Several years ago I had LR and I used to put a watermark on many of my photos, Now nothing has really changed except for when I add the watermark then save it, where the hell does it go.
I don`t think it was ever like this before.
If I have this wrong, how do I set up the watermark file to view with the watermark on.

It doesn't save it anywhere. When exporting you just point to wherever you have your watermark saved already.
