A big thank you to John [Elvis] for showing me where to find the Dippers Spent a pleasing morning watching these beautiful birds. All photographs were taken using 30D and 300 mm prime . Got close using camouflaged net

Very very nice images of a secretive bird. I only ever see these in the dark areas and difficult to photograph so i love seeing nice clear images of these.

Unfortunately, as Markyboy says, they really do favour darker areas, only venturing further out when it's overcast. Super shots, Pikeman.
