LUMIX DMC-ZX3 Firmware Bars 3rd Party Batteries

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but the latest firmware for the LUMIX DMC-ZX3 prevents the use of 3rd party batteries

Wouldn't be surprised if more manufacturers adopt this policy in the near future, valuable income being lost in these recessionary times

The Lumix GF1 did this too - but then I think the 3rd party battery makers worked out how to fake the authentication too.
