A faster shutter would have helped a lot #1
and you have missed the focus in #3
but having said that, the static shots are very nice (y)

What is the cross?
I have a Saluki x greyhound quick ain't they?

We think she is Whippet/Greyhound/Collie ish??She is a rescue dog, quick is an understatement ,I find it difficult to keep the camera following her to take pics, its normally just a blur!!!Love trying though, really makes me smile to se her in full flow.

Sorry to hear about your loss ,will you be getting another Lurcher?
He/She looks very placid as most do untill they are off the lead.

Gorgeous hound! Does she have her own sofa?

If I had to pick a favourite it would definitely be number 4 - spot on composition and the exposure brings out her colour beautifully.

For your action shots I recommend planing one knee firmly in the ground and getting down to her level - it really does make a difference to your shots. Also getting the sun behind you is handy for the action - the lighting is better and your camera AF system will have more data to work with!

Look forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the tips Richard.
