Lyme Regis Coast - Colour or B&W?

What do you think of these and which do you prefer?

For me, it'd have to be the B&W version. The only thing is, the water in the colour one has an amazing ethereal look to it, which is slightly lost in the B&W. Perhaps a little more contrast just on the water in B&W. Just an idea. Nice shot already though

Personally I prefer the B&W. It gives an added feel to the whole mood of the shot and I dont think there is enough colour in the colour shot to stand out.

The B&W is the best for me. The clouds in the colour version look almost artificial somehow and not part of the scene, The impression it gives me is that the cloud is copied from another image.

The B&W looks more natural and moody

Hi, I like both, but given a choice I'd go for number 1. I really like the colours, and imo the B&W looks a bit oppressive.

Love the colours in 1, so that's my choice, but you have lost the effect of the lighthouse.

Both are stunning and I cant tell which one I prefer though perhaps the colour one has the edge but personal tastes etc

Mono for me not sure why the colour one is not working for me think its the sky I not happy about
