So does anyone know if the tide every get that far up the beach to cover the old pier structure? If it is an old pier structure.

If you mean the remains of the old steamer jetty, then no I have never seen it completely submerged.

I've never seen it fully covered. Seldom gets more than 50% up the legs. Hard to get a decent photo of. A good sunset helps otherwise it's a bit like a bird on a stick.

It was part of the pier up until it burned down in the early 80's. I would expect it would only get fully submerged during storms with high seas.

Thanks guys. I've found a single picture where water is anywhere near it. Which does make me wonder why there's a pier in the first place

Look for spring tides as they are bigger - it will not get fully covered but some water will be around the base.
