M43 Perfect Lens Selection? What have you?

Yes, it is pretty good, there is quite a bit of CA but Lightroom gets rid of it and it is heavy, not really in m4/3 territory but has a tripod ring and a built-in hood and it cost me £100

I am considering ditching the P45-200 as I never seem to use telephoto stuff. I am also thinking about swapping out the P7-14 for a O9-18 seeing as I have the fisheye.

Only just seen this thread and makes interested reading.

I have now sold off all my canon kit and have swapped to the OMD EM-5 and the following lenses -

12-50 (got the black omd kit with this lens)
Olympus 12mm F2
Panasonic Leica 25mm F1.4
Olympus 45mm F1.8
Olympus 75mm F1.8

Enjoying using this lot so far, has bought a new lease of life to my photography now that I have a really high quality, light weight outfit!

Only other lens I am thinking of adding is the new 60mm macro from Olympus.

Panny 20mm f1.7, 14-42mm.
Voigtlander 25mm f0.95.
Minolta 28mm f2.8, 55mm f1.7 and 135mm f3.5.

The Minolta Rokkor lenses are a joy to use and I took a shot of my GF today with the 55mm which as a whole image IMVHO stands comparison with anything I've taken with my 5D.

Pana 14mm - Only had it a week or so but have used it a fair few times.
Pama 20mm - At the mo attached to my GF1. Love it for street photography.
Oly 12-50mm - Attached to my OM-D. 2 days old, so too early to say.
Oly 14-42mm - Haven't used for ages.
Pana 14-45mm - Haven't used for ages.
Oly 45m - At the mo attached to my EP-1. Love it.
Pana 40-200mm - Used a few times, keeping for when I need extra length

Not a huge amount has changed since I last posted.

I have sold on my Panasonic GF-1 & 14-45mm and my Panasonic G1 as I have got the Oly OMD EM-5. I still have the Oly Ep-1 and 14-42mm as a backup but have ordered a Fuji X10 refurb which I would like to replace the Oly as my backup camera.

Added - Oly 40-150mm.

Undecided on which I prefer the Oly 40-150 or the Pana 40-200,
so for now they are both staying until I am absolutely sure.

Have been using my 12-50 and the 45mm a lot over the past couple of months.

Haven't used the 20mm since I sold my GF-1 so may sell it on to help fund the Panasonic Leica 25mm I have been lusting after.

You mean the 45-200 Panasonic? I also have the 40-150 Olympus and the Panasonic 45-200 and cannot decide between them either! Got the Panasonic as an impulse buy for £140 after cashback. I also have a similar focal length on my Nex (55-210) and the Nex lens has better image quality than the Panasonic (especially stopped down to f8) but the Nex AF is so slow that you can miss shots!

My most used m43 lens by a long, long way is the 20mm. My least used is the 14mm but it is so small and light that it's perfect for hillwalking (where the focal length is quite a useful one too) so will probably keep it.

I will almost certainly get the Olympus 45mm at some stage but I have quite a few legacy 50mm primes which all cost under £20, so not really in a hurry.

The 25mm is tempting but at double the price of the 20mm I don't think I gain enough to justify it - the IQ of the 20mm is great the 'slow' AF is not an issue for me (and I often use it in low light) and I love the small size.

I have the PZ 14-42 and the PL 45 (just arrived). The PL 45 images shocked me positively.

I am now wondering whether to get a 12-35 or the 12 and 25 primes (will keep the PZ for family videos)

If anyone have used both the 12-35 and the above mentioned primes, please be so kind and give me some food for thought on the practical pros/contras of both options, thanks!
