Mac 2 screen setup

I don't think so all though I have wanted to have a set up like it at times.
 
I am not aware of being able to do that. You can run the 2nd screen as a totally separate display and have apps run in that 'space' rather than on your 1st screen.

You might ask on a Mac support site though.
 
If you find out how to do it let me know. I've tried and can't find any reference as how to do it.

I did manage to get the Dock and Menu bar onto the second monitor once but haven't been able to do it again, but not on both screens at the same time
 
No you cant. One screen is always master.

You can always mirror.

My Setup (although now I have 3 monitors)

I've got the menu bar on one and the dock on the other which is a partly acceptable solution.

I have mine vertically arranged - Macbook screen below, then 2nd screen above. When I disconnect the 2nd screen the menu bar reappears on the macbook screen.

You clever chap! :thumbs: I think that will help me a little with certain programs.

I knew that but didn't think of the dock remaining in my primary screen! :bonk:
