Mac bootcamp question

If bootcamp is used is there a performance loss with running windows programs?
For example if I was running a windows version of Adobe CS5 creative suite on a mac via bootcamp would it be slower than running a mac OSX version?
(the reason for wanting to do with is to link up with my windows desktop )

I only occassionally use my Windoze partition for PS, Andy, but I've not really noticed a drop-off in performance when I do... HTH
