.Mac or .me email question

I have a .mac email account so my ipod, both macs and my new ipad pick up my personal email, and wherever I send an email from, it will be in all sent item boxes. I have a few pop3 emails setup, but if i send from macbook it will not show on my iphone. Is there anyway all can be syncd?

Can you use IMAP instead of POP3?

Yep imap should do the trick. Make sure you point the imac to put the sent mail into the folder on the imap account and not store them locally. Check out your email provider for the imap info.

This was I think working fine in my old iphone, and is working fine on ipad, but on my 1phone 4 the sent items on iphone are only emails sent from there and I cant see items sent from laptop (can see laptop ones on ipad).

Setup on Imap and settings look ok to me, although more options on ipad?

Any ideas?
