I'm wondering if anyone can help

My Mac book pro was purchased running Tiger, I bought the upgrade disc and upgraded to Leopard. I've since lost the upgrade to Leopard disc, and i'd like to do a complete erase and install.
Obviously I'd only be able to get it back to run as Tiger as as I've not got the upgrade to Leopard disc.
My question, is there a way to copy my Leopard OS on to a disc so I can re-install it again?

No you can't.
You will need to either purchase the disc again, or borrow it from a friend of yours...

You can get Snow Leopard for £25 anyway, might as well stick that on.

True, but I think that's if you upgrade from leopard to Snow Leopard. After my erase and install it'll be running Tiger so i think i'll have to pay more like £130!

Nope, just get Snow Leopard for £25 and do a clean install from that disc.

Will that definitely work? Great if it did. :) I know you know loads more about this than me, just seems a bit too good to be true

I've done clean installs from the Snow Leopard disc on two of my machines. I don't do OS upgrades....

As long as it is Intel powered then you can do a clean install straight to Snow Leopard.

I was on tiger and upgraded to Snow leopard for the lower price...oh wait, I came into this a bit late. I was just so excited to share the revelation that you don't have to pay £130. ;):D

I'll er...just get my coat. :coat:
