Macro extension tubes

Hey all,

Im looking into macro photography and as money is an issue Im interested in the extension tubes and rings you can buy.

Would it be worth buying a set to fit on my Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S and/or the 18-55 kit lens?

Anyone got any examples of using these cheap rings/tubes on the above lenses on a D40 and can give opinion on the best to buy?

Yes, tubes are good. A lot of folks use Kenko, including me £120, though you can get cheaper. Check the for sale section here.
