The second half (4-6) were took with a tripod in lowish light so using a slower shutter speed

I'm not a huge fan of flower shots but 4 & 6 really work for me, they really work in b&w and have a lovely dof.

Aha now I see it ......... as a florist I feel it my duty to point out that all foliage below the water line should be taken off, it goes manky and kills the flowers quicker

If you like doing flower shots Bill make friends with your local florist, we had a guy who used to buy flowers off me to photograph, eventually we came to an agreement where I would give him a flower and he would give me a print of it in exchange - both happy
