Macro help

Here goes...
been trying to use my macro lens (sigma 105mm) but find it really hard to use
not sure what kinda shutter speed to use or iso!!
Heres 1 i took the othere day 1/250 f11 iso600 on my s3

picture is fresh of the camera no flash used!!

what you think?? good bad??

Nice enough shot, just lacks a focal point, plus the flowers top right are a bit distracting.
F stop is ok for dof, flash is your friend with macro, lets you drop the iso. loads of info to be had . Have a good read of this .... http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=131770
