Just wanted to pick the collective brains of the TP experts
.
I have a Tamron 90mm f2.5 adaptall macro that I bought of here earlier this year and have had some good fun with it. I am looking to upgrade to a lens with 1:1 and AF ( as I also use the lens for a bit of portrait stuff and I am crap at MF in a hurry and the kids don't sit still :bang
and have narrowed it down to either the Tamron 90mm or the Sigma 105mm.
Just wondered if there were any reasons that I have missed in searching t'internet that would push or pull me from one of these on a D300, or if there was any other lenses that are around the £200 mark s/h that I should be considering
Thanks
Nick

I have a Sigma 70mm f2.8 on a cropped sensor and it is great for both macro and portrait.
