Hi all im looking onto getting more into Macro, but want a dedicated lens for it. Im on abit of a budget at the moment. Someone reccommended the Tamron 90mm. Are there any other cheaper macro lenses woth a look?
Is the canon 60mm any good? I have no idea at the moment :)

If your on a bit of a budget the Sigma 50mm Macro lens is def worth a look.

Also size depends on what your going to photo - the 50/60mm range will be a bit on short side if your interested in bugs etc, need to be looking at 100mm range plus then. If flowers etc, 50mm range will be fine :thumbs:
 
I've had the Tamron 90mm for a month or so now and I totally love it, I don't know what I'd do without it now
 
Brian Valentine who was featured in AP a little while back has recently bought the Tamron so that should be a recommendation. He is an acknowledged master at Macro.
