Hi everyone I have been given an assignment to do macro photography for college and would any one b able to tell me if my 50mm 1.8d reversed on my d90 would be 1:1? And if not anybody and suggestions? Many thanks , Alan
 
You are better off with some extension tubes. That way the manual focus ring doesn't lose it's functionality completely.
 
Well I used your advice and purchased a cheap set of tubes only problem I'm having is I keep getting a bright spot in the middle of my photos I thought it was glare but i tried covering it with my hands but nothing changed, any one any ideas whats wrong?
 
Strange, I occasionally get the same with my cheap tubes.
Can't offer an explanation though.
 
The nikkor 50mm f/1.8 D has an aperture ring though, so that's not so much of an issue.
