Obviously there is a lot of different ways to have your kit set up for macro and it's mostly down to personal preference but I have never used a ring flash to know what they are like. I was looking at getting a flash bracket to be able to move my YN565 at different angles at the front of my lens like many other setups, but I've noticed for a similar price (around£40) I can get a continuous lighting ring. Obviously for that price it's not as good as a proper ring flash but I'm just curious what it would be like.
This came up on my search for a flash bracket http://www.digitalmediastore.co.uk/..._Ring_Half_LeftRing__Whole_Ring__JJC-LED48A-D
Would this be Ok or should I just stick to my original idea with using my flahgun?
Cheers.
