I just bought a set of those really cheap close-up lenses from Ebay, so had a wee play with them stuck on the end of the 18-55 kit lens. Quite pleased with the results, considering the £11 price tag. C&C welcome.

£11!!!! I think its well worth it.

I like the last one even though you said it was badly timed, it looks quite good.

Thanks, I was quite pleased with it, despite it not being a "Splog". I didn't have time to attempt any better ones last night. Will keep trying though.

Could one give one a link for said cheapy tube? Those results are remarkable for the money! :clap:

My 10yr old daughter is fascinated with macro shots so this could give her a go at it!

Alternatively, just do an Ebay search for "macro filters". There are hundreds available.
