Mad with Frustration

I'm a trucker and work away all the time. I luckily bought a 50D and picked it up 2 weeks ago when I was home. Since then I have had no real oppurtunity to use it in anger as I'm always finishing work late and always end up in a drab layby or an industrial estate. Believe me I've done industrial estates to death and most of them are not photogenic when your knackered.
I'm not home now till late xmas eve where there is a Tokina 12-24, and a canon wired shutter release waiting.
With all the xmas panic I probably won't see my camera till I get back in my truck on the 28th. Back to layby's and industrial estates !!!!
So frustrated..

truck driving can be a thankless job.at least i get home every night.
god , you get less time off at xmas than i do.

Thats wierdeh. I've got the 50D. I'ts just I haven't got time or an interesting subject to have a play.

It "IS" the most thankless job without doubt.I'm an owner driver, so I have to go where the work is. Thats why I'm never home and don't take holidays. Great eh, owning your own truck:bang::bang::bang::thumbsdown:
