Yes the menu's are archaic, the screen is small and low res. No it doesn't have video, or live view, or AF-micro adjust. No Auto ISO either.
But does any of that matter when you see the images on a computer screen? Not for a month of Sundays!
I was a bit speculative at first about the praise 5D classic's seem to be getting around the internet, thinking they must have rose-tinted specs on or something. But the IQ is dreamy! The 3D effect and creamy backgrounds, wow.
I never really liked my 50L on the 40D, nothing to do with length, it just didn't give that wow factor I was hoping for. It truly sings on the 5D though!
Anyway, I must stop as I'm trying to sell the 40D.
