Made the switch from Pentax to Nikon 50mm Lens Question

Ok so I've just switched over to Nikon from Pentax for too many reasons to write down. I had a k200d then a kr and 95% of the time I used a 35mm lens. So naturally I purchased a 35mm 1.8 for my Nikon, which I am happy with but sometimes feel the field of view is a little too wide. I'm thinking of buying a 50mm 1.8 and just wondered if anyone uses both a 35mm and a 50mm or would I be better with something a little longer?

I have a 50mm 1.8 It's as light as a feather. Also have a 105mm prime. Covers most of what I shoot, which is running. All depends on what you are shooting. It's a very responsive lens. (Don't know technical jargon at all)
