Decided to get a few shots of the cat (with my new 50mm), seeing as she likes to sit around all day doing nothing!

The first shot is a cracker - might crop it a bit tighter at the top to concentrate attention downwards?

The other two are marred by a very pronounced orange cast due to the tugsten light and obviously having the wrong white balance set. Correctable in processing though.

I had to look at this cos my daughter's name is Maisie.....
I agree with CT about the first shot, it is very cute!

He! he! first 2 are real cuties.
I agree about the orange cast ... and yet in #2 ... I think it gives a kind of charm to the pic, for me it adds to that 'dozing by the fire' look, giving it a nice warm feel.
