Make your own variable ND filter :)

After reading about the 7dayshop garbage variable ND filter I recalled reading about how you can make your own using two polarising filters.

I have never tried it so can not vouch for it's effectiveness but test results are shown so here you go

Ive done similar but i used two Circular Polarizing filters, i reversed the element in the one to be able to use it as a variable ND filter.

A very cool idea, but a tad expensive when I am using b&w 105mm kassman CPL's
