Since this topic seems to come up fairly often I'm making a tutorial on ND filters and long exposures / 'how do I get that blurry water effect?' that I'll post to the tutorials section. I'm planning on putting in a selection of images taken at different shutter speeds to illustrate the different effects that can be created, not just on water but any subject really. Speeds from fractions of a second up to minutes.
Would anyone like to contribute some images? I'm after the kind of images you would use an ND filter to get, so probably not things like star trails, car headlight trails etc. The images don't need to be taken with an ND filter, just demonstrate what an exposure of a certain length does to a moving subject. I would need to know what the shutter speed was. Any contributers would be acknowledged (unless they'd rather not be) with a link to their profile, website, flickr or whatever they prefer.
If you're interested, please post your image here along with its shutter speed, a link to the gallery or page you'd like me to link to, and any information about the picture you think would be useful to know. Alternatively send it in a PM or I'll PM you my email address.
Oh and let me know if you'd rather I host it on my photobucket rather than hotlink from your site.
