My first attempt at shooting a male model

My first feeling is that it needs more contrast because it feels a bit washed out at the moment -- also I don't feel that the pose really works as well as it might, and that having the shadow across the face lessens the impact.

Which all sounds very negative -- but I do like the thinking behind it I just think it isn't quite there.
