Thought I'd nip out at lunchtime yesterday instead of sitting at my pc through out lunch, few nice bits around

Both shot at 1000mm (600mm + 1.7x) on the D3

Just needs the wing up, shielding the eyes and you have an excellent catalogue pose! Seriously - I do like the gsw shot - seeing the curve of the leading edge of the wing and the bill slightly open gives is a real feeling of something about to happen.

The catchlights in the eyes would benefit from a brightness/contrast boost to give them sparkle, but nice pics.

I have too disagree about cloning out the branches, I think it makes it more natural. If the branches are too distracting, then yes clone them out but in this case they look alright.
