Mam Tor and Winnats Pass

Had an early morning trip out to the much photographed Mam Tor and Winnats Pass in the Peak District yesterday morning, hoping I might get a cloud inversion button to no avail. Still a good bit of fresh air though.

Great atmosphere on the first shot. Love this spot, about a 15 minute drive from home but one I overlook too often - especially now I'd be lugging a two year old up with me!

Thanks.... I love the place too, Mam Tor, Winnats Pass plus Bamford Edge just down the road. I live about 75 minutes away so although not a huge distance away, it's enough to deter me sometimes. Probably not a great place to get a two year old up to but give it another few years and that could be very different.
