Hello, been considering for a couple of months, ready to get my wallet out, but still undecided which system to go for.
In the past I've had Minota 7xi with zooms, Olympus OM4Ti with 7 primes, Mamiya 7 with two lenses ... plus the usual compacts like Ricoh GR1. Used both Canon and Nikon systems which a mate has
Wanting to get back into it, I like the look of the modern Fuji XF system...the prime lenses...and cameras X1 Pro/XT10 seem good value, but I have rarely printed any digital stuff over the last 15 years.
I loved the handling of the Olympus, so lean to the Fuji XT-10. And digital is so easy.
But then I look at my 6x7 trannies/cibachromes from the 90's that jump out at me and think... get a Mamiya 7 again.
The three lenses I'd use mostly would be (35mmequivalent) a 24mm, 50mm and a 105/135 portrait.
Anyone know whther the latest fuji lenses are superior to the older mamiyas?
Which of the two systems would you choose and why?
Cheers,
Andy
