Very good attempt. Unfortunately I think its slightly "soft" esp around nose/ears and lacks a bit of contrast. A slightly deeper DoF might help, with f3.2 I think you've only got about 2cm depending how far from the dog you were.
A lens hood or bit of PP might help with the contrast.

But lovely clean composition, could be really, really good.
