Manchester

Hi Guys
I've got to travel to our new office in Manchester next week and thought i would take my camera with me just incase.

I don't think me dragging the others around so i can take some photos will work so it needs to be fairly close to the hotel which is in Piccadilly Gardens.

So anyone from up in Manchester, any ideas of where i could take some or what's in that area

Well you are slap bang in the middle of the city centre at Piccadilly Gardens, so you have the whole city within easy reach! What is your forte? It is great for people shots, the gardens are at one end of the main shopping street...and Manchester is one of the most varied cities for architectural types, from the 14th C library, to the Beetham Tower/Hilton.

Loads of galleries and museums too, all of which are free entry! If you fancy some grimy urban shots, check out the Northern Quarter (3 minute walk from the gardens). Or perhaps jump on a tram out to Salford Quays/Old Trafford.

A bit more info and I'll give you a list as long as your arm

Chinatown is pretty good and only a minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens.
