Grr, dilemma
I originally owned a lovely sturdy Manfrotto 055C Alloy tripod, but its a pretty hefty to cart about on days out. I bought 'sight unseen' a set of Manfrotto 190CF3 legs for their compact size and lightness without the loss of rigidity, BUT once I received the I'm finding them a little too 'light' to accomodate my 30D+Grip+50-500, it supports it fine but just doesn't feel right (for me anyway). So I'm considering replacing both with a 055 CF3 or 055 Pro as it gives me the ridgidity of my old 055 but with most of the weight saving of the Carbon Fibre.
Has anyone gone through the same dilemma and made a reasoned judgement???
