manfrotto 190CL and 488 RC2 Good combination?

Going to look at a used one later? is it suitable for a first tripod to use for closeup/macro & landscape HDR/Pano? I see it has a low level adapter. Is £60 a reasonable price? will it be happy holding a 60D, macro/std tele and speedlite? anything I should look out for?

I was going to go for a 190prob/xprob but I cannot afford more than £60. Is it as stable as the prob? max height 147cm is this ok for someone 5'8"?

It will definitely do the job of holding your camera rig... worst case it won't do everything you want perfectly but the joy of the Manfrotto is that you can change the head later etc.

Max height of 147 of the tripod, add say another 10 to get to the viewfinder - that's 157 (which my mental arithmetic makes to be about 5'3") - can you bend down 4"? :)

Thank you I just picked it up. Fully extended, plus the height of the ball head, plus the camera, I can see through the view finder :)

You forgot that ones eyes arent on top of ones head :)
 
I will have to wear flats :)
